The story begins with the TD1 and then the TD2 which will be world champion in 1970 thanks to the British private Rodney Gould and 2nd the same year with the Australian Kel Carruthers, who also won the Isle of Man TT in 1970.
In the early 1970s the TD was replaced by the TD3.
It is a 250 air-cooled parallel twin-cylinder 2-stroke 250, 44hp (33kw) at 10000rpm, 232 km/h.
