1978 YAMAHA XS650SE 1978 TYPE 3L1 Number 002368 French car registration document The 650 XS is presented in France from 1970, it is first of all the first four-stroke motorcycle made by Yamaha. Its design borrows a lot from the Triumph Bonneville from which it takes the aspect. It was designed with the Toyota design office, which will give Yamaha the benefit of all its experience in four-stroke engines, especially those acquired during the development of the 6-cylinder Toyota GT2000. The motorcycle presented here dates back to 1978 and therefore features double braking at the front and aluminum rims. It has been entirely restored by Mr Delage, former associate and creator of VD classic with Mr Vincente, specialist of the 500SR among others. Having made only a hundred km since the restoration being exposed for several years, it requires only a small startup and will give much pleasure to its new owner.
