1957 MOTOM 48 Engine number 188428 The Motom brand is based in Milan and manufactures an astonishing modern, not to say futuristic 50 from 1947 to 1962. Beam frame made of pressed sheet metal, interrupted halfway by saddle support, motor and crankset attachment, front suspension by pressed sheet metal parallelogram fork, sliding rear suspension, aluminium rim, selection control by ball joint. The engine is an overhead valve four-stroke with torsion bar return, pump lubrication, primary gear transmission, 3-speed gearbox. The model presented is entirely original, the engine is not blocked, it lacks the small flywheel on the left and the small chain case but there is a second low engine supplied. This is a nice project for a lover of beautiful mechanics.
