on canvas, signed lower right. Accidents in the upper corner
This table is listed by Marine DELPY -PLANQUE daughter of
the artist under N°1050. Note: This is a work of which several studies
were made in Karlsruhe in 1945. The painter was then on a mission to
Lieutenant Painter to the armies. He is then assigned to the famous 2nd AD of the
1st French army of De Lattre de Tassigny. This painting will be exhibited at the
galerie des deux îles in Paris between October 22 and November 9, 1946. It
will also be exhibited at the War Museum for the Invalids in 1946. 73.5 x 90
cm.
