This sculpture represents a Jewish goat peddler carrying three goats in his bag.
The head and the jaw of the peddler are mobile.
A similar sculpture appears in Wolfgang Brückner’s book : « Rhöner Schnitzfiguren aus dem 19. Jahrhundert » (photos numbers 125 and 127, page 190).
