ÉMILE GALLÉ (1846-1904
)Flight of a lepidopteran among the "gaillardes", the model designed around [1880]
Rare vase reminiscent of an oriental perfume burner; baluster-shaped with two small detached handles and two wings shaped and stretched with pliers and then glued together with hot glue.
Glass proof, very slightly smoked grey-blue, with a rotating decoration made with polychrome enamels and baked gold.
The lower parts of the detached handles are lightly sandblasted, a small shock and are missing at the base of one of the fins.
Signed Émile GALLÉ under the base.
