Paris, Glomeau, 1911, in-4 bound full blue morocco, spine ribbed, plates framed with a double gilt fillet with 4 spandrels, marbled paper counter plates edged with a morocco return with full and dotted gilt fillets and spandrels, marbled paper endpapers, gilt head, cover and spine preserved, under interlocking, a lightly rubbed bit. Binding signed René Kieffer. Illustrated with 4 original color lithographs of Lubin de Beauvais and a portrait. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies. One of the 25 head copies (n°22), this one on large Hollande, comprising three suites of the lithographs : one suite in black, one suite finished in colors with full margins, and one suite finished in colors with the text, and finally the illustrated subscription prospectus.
