Counter plates with rose painted decoration edged with a morocco return with net, Greek style roulette and spandrels, painted silk endpapers with floral motifs, double marbled paper endpapers. Gilded head, cover and back preserved, under interlocking. Binding signed René Kieffer. Illustrated with 33 colour compositions by Raphaël Collin engraved in etching by Chessa. Edition at 325 copies, one of the 60 copies on Japon impérial (n°87) containing two etchings states including the foreword.
