Saint Nicholas in carved oak with remains of polychromy, back partly hollowed out. Standing, wearing a mitre with dewlaps, he blesses with his right hand and must have been holding the crosier (no longer present) with the other; he is dressed in an alb and a cope held on his chest by a four-lobed clasp; the salt cellar is placed at his feet. Northern France, circa 1500 Height: 88.7 cm Collection number in ink 8098 on the back. (missing the children and the stock, restoration to the upper part of the mitre)
