17th century speckled fawn basane, spine ribbed, cold roulette on the boards, lack of leather on the edges and corners, red edges.
First edition of the French translation. The iconographic cycle is based on the Italian edition of 1550, and on the editions of Vitruvius and Serlio's book III.
