A large Chinese Zhangzhou ware charger, 16th century, painted in red, green and turquoise enamels with a scholar and attendant in a garden landscape filled with pine and bamboo, surrounded by flowering daisy and chrysanthemum blossoms, the sky decorated with scrolling lingzhi clouds, the outer border with panels of bamboo and pine amongst flowering chrysanthemum and lotus blossoms, 39cm diameter 品相報告 Condition Report: Small portions of restoration to the rim, with further small grazes in areas.
