Islamic mortar Cast bronze with engraving and golden brown patina. Cylindrical, with collar-like flared upper and lower rims. Two circumferential calligraphy bands, each interrupted by four elliptical nubs. Around the foot a braided band, on the upper rim a wavy vine. Lime deposits on the inside, the base only slightly concave hewn. H 8,2, D 10,1 cm, weight approx. 1,1 kg. Khorasan, 13th - 14th century.
