Islamic mortar with an animal head handle. Cast bronze with engraving, remnants of a red paint finish, verdigris due to corrosion. Cylindrical, with console-like upper and lower rim. Circumferential, between engraved vines, two rows of three nups each. Similar vegetal ornaments around the rims. Casting defects in the base, ring eyelet lost.
