Signed mortar with double-faced handles.
Bronze casting with fine dark brown patina. Inscription in Gothic minuscules all around the rim of the lip: "andre boureau me fist favre ave maria", behind it a cross. Two horizontally projecting cap-clad men's heads as handles, one face up and one down. Some verdigris on the inside due to corrosion, a few notches on the rim of the lips. H 14,6, D 16,4 cm, weight approx. 3,8 kg.
