Early Hachmann mortar with house mark.
Thin-walled bronze casting with honey-brown patina. On the front a coat of arms held by winged half figures with a house mark. Below the rim a broad inscription band in Gothic minuscules: "int iaer ons heren m vc lviii". Two zoomorphic handles. The base slightly concave hewn, above the base on both sides horizontal cracks, around the rim small notches. H 13, D 14.7 cm, weight approx. 2 kg. Matching crutch pestle, l 20.2 cm.
