Small Dutch mortar from 1646.
Golden brown bronze casting with natural patina. Around the middle of the wall two surrounding vegetal arabesque bands. Above a banner in Latin capitals: "LOF GODT VAN AL Ao 1646". Two dolphin handles. The handles are rubbed. H 10,6, D 11 cm, weight approx. 1,7 kg. Matching bronze pestle with nodus and remains of polychrome setting enclosed, l 16,5 cm.
