Early Hachmann mortar "IN DEO SPES MEA".
Golden brown bronze casting with polished natural patina. On the front a vacant escutcheon held by winged half figures. Verso a lion mascaron flanked by two rising lions. Around the base and below the rim a broad band of script in Gothic minuscules and Latin capitals: "int iaer ons heren m vlc viii" and "IN DEO SPES MEA". Two double-headed dragon handles. Missing part on the inside of the base, partial circumferential crack, rubbing. H 14,5, D 14,5 cm, weight approx. 5,1 kg. Matching bronze crutch pestle enclosed, l 24 cm.
