A Ming blue and white dish with barbed rim, Ming Dynasty, 16-17th century, China, An interesting pattern of a central flying crane surrounded by four pairs of cranes standing in a lotus pond. A wide intermediate border with oversize florals and a narrow outer diaper border. D 31 cm, Glaze wear of the surface and glaze loss along the egde of the dish. No hairlines or cracks and no restoration.
