White porcelain covered herbal tea pot, decorated with gold from the Princes' table service with the figure of Louis Napoleon surmounted by the imperial crown, frieze of ivy leaves on the shoulder and gilded fillets on the borders. On the reverse side mark "Pavillon de Breteuil" in red, mark Louis Philippe 46 for the year 1846 in green and gold mark of Louis Philippe's initials crowned Sèvres 1846

The Pavillon de Breteuil, built for the Orleans family, is a former Trianon of the Château de Saint-Cloud, which is now destroyed.
