Porcelain, pâte sur pâte, painted in colour and gold, the bottom decorated with underglazed blue sceptre and red imperial orb. Mirror framed by ornamental relief enamel in gold, which continues in the decoration of the rim of the plate. Within it flat relief pâte sur pâte painting on celadon ground. A diaphanously dressed bacchante gives Pan, kneeling beside a tree stump, to drink from an amphora. Monogrammed "H.M." Stand ring pierced with two holes for hanging. Year mark for 1919. Min. glaze flaw, min. cr., min. crack at rim (ca. 1 cm) otherwise good condition. Germany, 1919. Ø ca. 30 cm
