L.S. dictated to Fain and addressed to General Lauriston. Paris, February 8, 1813. 1 p. in-4. Gilt edge. Letter published in the general correspondence of Napoleon Bonaparte Tome 13 letter n°32685.
Lauriston will read "with attention" the long letter of the Emperor and the copy of that which he addresses to the minister of the war relating to the cavalry. Lauriston will make known to the Emperor the details of each contract made by the depot "what it produced and to which corps it was given". He will stop at Hanover to satisfy all the requests of his depot, will write to Sébastiani to go to Hamburg and Hanover and to make there "the meeting of the men. Take care that there is no lack of funds for the payment of horses. - Agree with Count Chabau so that three thousand saddles of the various weapons are made in Hamburg ()".
