CAYATTE ANDRE: (1909-1989) French Filmmaker. Well remembered for films like Nous sommes tous des Assassins (1952), or Mourir d'Aimer (1971). A.L.S., `André', one page, to a postcard photograph, Trouville-sur-mer, 2nd August 1951, to Charles Spaak, in French. Cayatte explains when he will be back to Paris before going to Brussels, and further refers to the scenario of his film Nous sommes tous des Assassins (''We are all Murderers''), stating `..Luet, Thuillier, Léard are all enthusiastic with the scenario, on the other hand Kostua is not so sure.' This famous film was produced the year after. To the front, the postcard shows an image of the ''Falaise des Roches Noires'' at Trouville. G Charles Spaak (1903-1975) Belgian Screenwriter. Son of Poet Paul Spaak and brother of Politician Paul-Henri Spaak.
