YANKEE DOODLE DANDY: George M. Cohan (1878-1942) American Entertainer whose life and music were depicted in the film Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942). Fountain pen ink signature ('Yankee Doodlefully, Geo. M. Cohan') to the verso of his personal printed oblong 12mo visiting card. Some heavy traces of former mounting to the printed side largely obscure his name and address; James Cagney (1899-1986) American Actor who won an Academy Award for his portrayal of George M. Cohan in Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942). Bold black ink signature ('Jim Cagney') to the verso of a colour postcard reproduction of one of Cagney's paintings depicting flowers in a vase. G to VG, 2
