A VICTORIAN SILVER MUG, maker's mark unclear (possibly Edward Edwards II), London 1838, baluster shape, the body as four lobed panels repousse with floral and foliate stems, conforming floral decoration to the shallow domed circular foot, with foliate scroll handle, gilded to interior. 10.1cm high to top of handle, 4.7 troy ounces200300120Maker's mark not entirely complete, other marks clear and well struck. Stands upright, does not rock. Gilding to interior lightly worn towards rim. Minor bruises and light surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use
