"Rûmî" Lithograph
Description: Lithograph from the project "Invisible Masters" (winner of the Jameel Prize 2011 in London), adressing the life and legacy of forteen great mystics of Islam. Tribute to Jalal ad-Din Rûmî (1207-1273), known as Rûmî, most recognized Persian writer in the world. After his death, his main followers started the Sufi Mevlevi order, of which the whirling dervishes (depicted on this lithograph) are the most visible symbol.
