CAUCASIAN KILIM carpet (Caucasus), late 19th century
Dimensions : 305 x 190cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on wool foundation.
This kilim is composed of six brick and bottle-green columns, decorated with stylized multicolored starry flowers, framed by small triangles and highlighted with ivory lines in polychrome pyramidal forms. Ivory and anthracite columns, with broken and hatched lines complete the set. Beautiful polychromy.
