Mechanical tapestry, early 20th century Dimensions : Height : 720 ; Width : 210cm. This very long tapestry presents us with a lush and green undergrowth, with numerous plants and shaded by centuries-old oaks. The grassy and undulating banks are used as a backdrop for a lakeside landscape, the wooden bridge and the leafy groves. The border has a figurative frame moulded with clusters and acanthus leaves.
