A ceremonial plate in the old Viennese style Bohemia, c. 1890, underglaze blue painted beehive mark and embossing number 86, smooth moulded form with fine polychrome onglaze and relief gold painting, the mirror depicting a biblical scene with Jacob's dream of the ladder to heaven, the finely decorated cartouche flag with neoclassical decoration of vases, pearl bar and vegetal frieze, pearl bar minutely rubbed, otherwise very good condition, d 21.5 cm.
