Busy hustle and bustle on a wintery snow-covered country road with horse and ox-drawn vehicles as well as a farmer's wife with a pannier in bright sunlight, low impasto genre painting with a brushstroke full of character in finely coordinated colours, oil on canvas, circa 1920, signed "Tübbecke" lower left, restored in the sky, originally framed in a gold stucco frame, folding dimensions approx. 47.5 x 95 cm. Artist info: actually Paul Wilhelm Tübbecke, German painter, etcher and draughtsman.
