CÉZANNE PAUL (1839-1906).
L.A.S. "P. Cézanne", Tholonet 8 September 1897, to Émile SOLARI; 1 page and a quarter in-8 (trace of folding, some very light wetness).
Amusing letter. [Émile SOLARI (1873-1961), son of the sculptor and Cézanne's youthful friend Philippe Solari (1840-1906), was Émile Zola's godson].
He thanked him for sending the magazine L'Avenir artistique et littéraire. "Your father will come and eat duck with me next Sunday. It will be with olives, (the duck of course). I wish you could be one of us. Keep your good memory for me in the future ages and allow me to say to you cordially"...
