Decorative plate with floral bouquet and insects / Decorative plate. Meissen. 1774- 1814.
Porcelain, glazed, one plate painted in underglaze blue. Mirror of a plate decorated by a bouquet of flowers, a scattered floret and two insects. The surrounding basket pattern of the slightly ascending flags is open worked, the flag of the white plate with three cartouches in between. Each with the sword mark in underglaze blue on the underside, the sword mark of the white plate simply cut, as well as various embossed numerals and incised marks.
Plate with underglaze decoration with punctual, ground out glaze irregularities, those slightly greyish discoloured. Glaze of the white plate partially rubbed and with scratches.
Dimensions: D. 22,5 cm / D. 23,5 cm.
