A mid Victorian gold and black enamel mourning brooch, with central glazed hair work panel and engraving to reverse dated 25th December 1863, length 4.4cm, total weight 17.5g - Overall good to fair condition - Engraving possibly reads 'E. A. Crawford died Dec. 25th. 1863. in his 21st year.' - Glazed hair work panel in good condition, with some surface dirt trapped under glazing - Enamel is in fair condition, with scratches and a few small chips - Brooch fitting possible later addition, evidence of old repair - For enquiries about this lot please contact David Pregun at david@kinghamsauctioneers.com
