Ca. 9.5 x 15.9 cm. M. late. Inscription in red "No. 12". Verso by late. Gerbini was pupil of Giovanni Battista Viotti. Critics of the time often praised Gerbini's technical abilities, "whose extraordinary power of the bow, whose strength in passages and difficulties is almost unbelievable for a woman" (Allgemeine musikalische Zeitung, 1806/07, p. 399, quoted from V. Timmermann's article on L. Gerbini in the Sophie Drinker Institute's list of European female instrumentalists). - Fold. Minim.
