First edition. One of 106 copies on Arches vellum, the only large paper. L'Amant was awarded the Goncourt Prize the year of its publication and, two years later, the Ritz-Paris-Hemingway Prize. A very fine copy in a révorim binding, signed by Jean de Gonet and justified n°85/200.
