The woman is naked, with a cigarette on her lips and her eyes closed, indifferent to the gaze that might be cast upon her as a voyeur. This carefree figure is all the more moving because the original work is a "Scratching" executed on a lacquered glass plate, which was then accidentally broken. The composition is the result of photographing the different pieces put back together like a puzzle. Despite the fullness of its forms and the serenity that surrounds it, the figure also touches the viewer with its vulnerability.
