COUPLE OF VASES, SHOWER, GINORI MANUFACTURE, 1740-1745 CIRCA in majolica painted in Dutch blue monochrome, the decoration arranged on the vases in a specular manner with slightly different stylistic modes in the two objects. On the bottom of one of the vases the initials D1 in blue, which can be traced back to the type of ornament No. I, as per the contract between Nicholas Lhetournaus and Carlo Ginori, a French ceramist from Nevers who came to Doccia after a period of work in Faenza.
