A second quarter 19th century Chinese carved tortoiseshell brisé fan, Qing Dynasty, the nineteen inner sticks and upper guard carved, the lower guard plain, a central oval left void for initials, the carving featuring figures to the tips, animals to the next border, figures at leisure including one group who appear to be playing a board game, animals and stylised trees, the verso uncarved, guard approx. 7.75 inches or 19.5cm
