Important silver tea service 950 thousandths with engraved decoration of the coats of arms of the families of Wendel and Montaigu in oval medallions, appearing three crossed hammers and two lions upright passing, framed of Hercules and a crowned lion for supporters and surmounted by the ducal crown animated by a crowned lion, hallmark of diamond goldsmith HB
First half of the 20th century.
It includes :
- A fountain with a gadrooned body, the neck underlined by foliage scrolls, the handles decorated with jagged motifs, the gadrooned body with a spout simulating a stylized dolphin, resting on four feet decorated with piastres with foliage motifs ending in scrolls on turned wooden skids. The lid with a fretel simulating a melon.
A small stove with a turned wooden handle and a gadrooned body is attached.

NB: it is about the coat of arms of Mr. Pierre de Montaigu (1844-1927), and his wife Marie-Louise de Wendel de Hayange (1851-1939). Pierre de Montaigu was notably deputy and senator of Loire-Inférieure, owner of the castle of la Bretesche in Missilac (44), of the hotel de Voguë in Paris, and of the villa Carolina in La Baule (44).
