One of 980 Arabic numbered copies - facsimile volume after the illuminated manuscript Acc. No. 54.I.2 of the Metreopolitan Museum of Art, The Cloisters Collection, New York.- The work commissioned by the French King Charles IV. about 1325 for his wife Jeanne d'Evreux was decorated by Jean Pucelle with 25 full-page miniatures and about 700 decorative marginal figures in the technique of grisaille painting. It was in the possession of the Duc Jean de Berry and the Rothschild family, among others.- Format of the manuscript 9.4 x 6.4 cm.
