Kämmer & Reinhardt porcelain head doll for Simon & Halbig, "Mein Lieblingsbaby", character girl, circa 1914, marked K Stern R Simon & Halbig 126 46, bisque porcelain crank head with open mouth, two teeth on top, movable tongue, chin dimple, blue roguish/sleeping eyes, painted eyelash line, feathered brows, and brown synthetic hair wig with corkscrew curls, 15-piece toddler body of wood, papier-mâché and mass, probably originally dressed with underwear, purple costume with lace trimming and hat as well as stockings and shoes, body partly overpainted, beside the left eye a small, hardly visible, expertly restored spot, l 47 cm.
