KPM Berlin Pair of plates with children's portraits as pendants, end of 19th c., each with press mark from 1825, embossed number 158 237, letter S and other embossing marks, hand-signed in lead R. Dittrich (probably Rudolf Dittrich, active in Dresden), rectangular porcelain plates with extremely fine polychrome painting, depicting a little girl or boy in Tyrolean costume in front of a house wall. The plates are probably based on a painting in the Dresden Picture Gallery, framed in a wide gold stucco border, which shows signs of age, the plates in very good condition, dimensions of each plate 23.5 x 16 cm, dimensions of each frame 37 x 29.5 cm.
