A ceremonial plate "Raub der Europa" in the old Viennese style, probably Rädler & Pilz Vienna, circa 1890, underglaze blue banded shield mark, smooth domed form with fine polychrome onglaze and relief gold painting, in the mirror a multi-figured mythological scene with the king's daughter on the bull, the flag richly decorated with a border of figural cartouches and arabesques as well as pearl friezes, these partially rubbed, otherwise good condition, D 24 cm.
