Ornamental plate with bird decor
after English model of the 18th century, made by Edmé Samson Paris end of the 19th century, Chelsea imitation mark, of flat arched octagonal form, richly decorated with underglaze blue scale mosaic, five large and eight small concentrically arranged reserves depicting birds of paradise and insects respectively in fine polychrome onglaze painting, rocaille cartouches in gold painting and gold rim, detachable metal wall suspension, good condition for age, D 23,5 cm. Pendant to item 3115.
