France "Psyche" after a design by Etienne-Maurice Falconet around 1757, executed at the end of the 19th century, uninterpreted underglazed blue maker's mark, embossed model number 52 02, letter g, indistinct inscription dapés Falconet as well as old adhesive label, naturalistic design in white porcelain, nude young woman sitting on a round base on rocks and cloth drapery, hiding Cupid's bow next to her, counterpart to Falconet's sculpture "L'Amour Menacant", minimal burn marks, otherwise good condition, h 23 cm.
