Qualitätvolle Dose mit Münzen in Fassform Silver, partly gilded. The body widening in the middle, in the shape of a barrel. Smooth walls divided by vertically running, curved and grooved profile lines. On the middle of the wall the family coat of arms of the noble family von Maltzahn and the coat of arms of the Counts von der Schulenburg, Angern line. Flanked by two rows of three inset coins and medals, respectively. In the lid and in the base the embedded medal for the marriage of Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm IV and Elisabeth Ludovika (1823) and a medal for the coronation of Prussian King Wilhelm I (1861), respectively. Weight ca. 460 g. H. 14 cm. Provenance: From the possession of the noble family von Berg, uckermärkisches Uradelsgeschlecht, from the early 19th century until 1952 resident on Rügen.
