Infantry saber-briquet model 1767, brass single-branch guard without marking; flat blade stamped with the: "R" with large crown, remaining engravings of the double: "L" and on the other face of a "G" (grenadier). Blade of 59 cm signed: "Manufacture Royale d'Alsace", leather scabbard with two laminated brass trimmings. Split at the top with punches on both sides. Louis XVI period. A.B.E.
