Spanish school of the XIX century, following XVII century models. "Bust of Saint". Oil on panel. Cradled. Measurements: 38.5 x 32 cm; 55 x 49 cm (frame). We are in front of a painting of devotional character, in which the artist has collected the portrait of a male bust. The figure is cut on a neutral background, where there is no other element that distorts the viewer's view of the main figure. In addition, due to the dimensions and monumentality conferred by the artist, the figure occupies a large part of the pictorial surface. Despite the fact that it is a male face without any other identifying attribute, it is intuited that it is a religious representation, especially because of the posture adopted by the portrayed, in a pious and contemplative attitude.
