French embroidered suit, waistcoat and breeches, Louis XVI period, circa 1780, suit with small straight collar in pink silk satin embroidered in cream and green silk in the flat past and past implying garlands of flowers along the buttonhole, on the pockets, basques and cuffs; complete with its twenty-seven embroidered buttons in the same way. White satin waistcoat embroidered with the same decoration in pink and green silk by contrast. Breeches complete with its sixteen large and small buttons in plain satin and satin embroidered with flowers; pair of gilt metal garter buckles preserved, (some accidents, vest enlarged).
