Lot of two silver plated metal ice buckets.
Both signed underneath 'J. Després / 19-4-65'.
Jean-Eugène-Gilbert Després (1899-1980) was one of the most famous artist-jewellers during the first half of the 20th century. Friends with Braque, Signac and Modigliani, he realised numerous silver or metal pieces in a geometric style influenced by Cubism.
