Two blue and white kraak porcelain bowls, Ming dynasty, Wanli period, 1573-1620, China, A so called 'kraaienkom' (crow bowl, named after the bird on a rock depicted on the inside), decorated on the outside with panels filled with florals and birds. With a smaller shallow bowl featuring a central scene of a man in a landscape surrounded by typical cartouches in kraak style. The tall bowl: H 9.4 cm, D 14 cm. The smaller bowl: H 5 cm, D 14.5 cm, Small rim chips and frits and some kilndust in the glaze on the smaller bowl. No hairlines and no restoration.
